TV Settings

1- Set Sound Output to AUDIO Cu

Some TVs require you manually set sound output device to AUDIO Cu. 
For most TVs, you can use the following instructions:

1. Go to TV settings and open:
TV Settings > Sound Settings > Sound Output (or Sound Output Device)

2. Select AUDIO Cu (may appear labeled eARC / ARC device or similar).

Can't Find Sound Output Setting?

If you still cannot locate the sound output settings, try searching:
"How to change sound output settings" followed by your specific make and model of TV.
(e.g. "How to change sound output settings LG C5 TV").

2 - Disable Dolby Atmos (If Applicable)

Some TVs with Dolby Atmos feature may require you disable it in settings before AUDIO Cu plays sound so that the AUDIO Cu Transmitter can process Dolby Atmos correctly.

3 - Set Digital Output to 'Passive'

Some TVs may require setting Digital Output to Passive (or Auto if unavailable). For most TVs, you can use the following instructions:

1. Go to TV settings and open:
Sound Settings > Advanced (or similar) Settings > Digital Output (or similar)

2. Select Passive (or Auto if Passive is unavailable).

Can't Find Digital Output Setting?

If you still cannot locate the digital output setting, try searching:
"How to change digital output settings" followed by your specific make and model of TV.
(e.g. "How to change digital output settings LG C5 TV").

Still no sound? Poor sound quality?

Fix issues preventing sound playback.
